This e-course provides a basic introduction to economic, social and cultural rights (ESCR), with a focus on how you can apply ESCR in your own work.

The e-course consists of the following modules:

  • Introduction
  • E-course
  • Feedback and certificate
  • What now?

Under each module, there will be one or more content blocks. You can see this course structure on the left side.

How to enrol on this course

To enrol in this course you will first need to either log in or create an account. Then come back to the start of this course and click on the "enrol me" tab on the introduction page of this course. By enrolling you will get access to more elements and content. See the navigation video above for a more detailed demonstration.

The Four Modules

Introduction

In the "Introduction" module, you will get an overview of the course and some useful tips for taking an e-course. You'll also take a quiz to start reflecting on what you already know about this topic.

Please note that you can only take the quiz if you have enrolled in the course (see instructions for how to enrol above).

E-lesson

The "E-course" module contains the interactive and multi-modal e-lesson itself. After completing the e-lesson, you'll have the opportunity to reflect further on the content presented.

Feedback and certificate

In the "Feedback and certificate" module, we ask that you give your feedback on the e-course to help us improve. Your insights will help us understand how we can improve the Digital Learning hub for you in the future.

You will receive a certificate once you have completed the feedback survey. It is important to note that this certificate can only act as evidence of you having completed the course, it does not document any specific skills or knowledge gained as there are no tests to assess this.

You can only get access to your certificate if you enrol (see above for an explanation of how to do this).

What now?

Finally, in the "What now?" module, we provide links to more resources that can help you to develop your knowledge on this topic and start implementing what you have learnt into your work.
